Android development with real impact

Android app development that can watch, alert and prove.

Security Camera shows how a well-thought-out Android product can combine AI person detection, push notifications, cloud-based evidence and protection of the phone itself. An old device becomes a security camera ready for your flat, garage, cottage or small business in 90 seconds.

Key app features

A security app that is more than just for show.

We build around real value: fast activation, smart detection, strong privacy and an instant response the moment something actually happens.

AI person detection in view

On-device ML analyses the image in real time and reports when a person enters the monitored zone, with no dependency on external hardware.

Anti-theft phone protection

The accelerometer, gyroscope and GPS watch the movement of the device itself. If someone picks up, turns or takes the phone, the app reacts immediately.

Real-time push notifications

Firebase Cloud Messaging sends alerts to the owner and other approved devices, so you stay informed even when you are not on site.

Evidence photo with time and location

During an event the app takes a snapshot and adds the time, GPS and address. The user gets not just an alert, but clear context.

Cloud event history

Records are stored in Firestore and Storage, where they can be viewed, filtered and shared only with authorised users.

Privacy-first architecture

No third-party camera cloud, no selling of data. Privacy, permissions and European data processing are not an afterthought — they are the foundation of the design.

How we approach development

From Android architecture to a product ready to ship.

Security Camera is not just a landing-page promise. It is a reference Android product that shows how we connect UX, performance, AI and security into one coherent application.

Technologies used

Kotlin 2.x, Jetpack Compose, CameraX, ML Kit, Firebase, Room and Hilt. A modern Android stack that keeps up with both performance and long-term maintainability.

Proven stability

The critical detection path is tested, startup is optimised with baseline profiles, and after tuning false-positive scenarios the app achieves zero false alerts in a static room.

A second life for old hardware

Instead of buying another IP camera, you reuse an old Android phone. It is a faster, cheaper and more environmentally sensible path to home and business surveillance.

Ready to grow

The roadmap includes live view over WebRTC, two-way audio, custom detection zones and smart-home integration.

Deployment scenarios

Flat, garage, office, warehouse, cottage or Airbnb. The app is designed for places where surveillance needs to be up and running quickly, without complicated installation.

Development with business in mind

We do not just build features. We build a product with pricing, notification logic, cloud economics and a clear path to monetisation.

Product design and monetisation

Plans that match real-world usage.

The pricing model is designed so users can start for free and gradually grow from a single camera to multiple devices and advanced business features.

FAQ

The questions that always come first.

Short, honest and without marketing fog.

The app watches the space in front of the camera and uses ML to recognise when a person enters the frame. During an alarm it can also take an evidence snapshot and send an alert.
No. The camera watches movement in the image. Anti-Theft instead monitors the movement of the phone itself using sensors, so it recognises attempts to remove, turn or take the device.
No. Quite the opposite. The project is designed to give a second life to an older Android phone with Android 9+, without buying another surveillance device.
Typically within two seconds. The event flow is designed from detection through evidence storage to the Firebase push fan-out, so the user can react as fast as possible.
Evidence and events are stored in the Firebase infrastructure with rules designed around the account owner. Data is never sold to third parties and the user controls retention and deletion.

Got an old Android phone? Give it a new role.

Security Camera shows what a modern Android app for surveillance, AI and instant response can look like. If you want a similar product for your own project, we start with a real-world scenario, not an empty promise.
